Wednesday night when Stephen found out that the polls predicted him at 5% in South Carolina (in the Republican primaries) he realised things just got real. He announced that he would announce something huge the next day, right after asking his audience (including the TV and torrent audience as well) if they thought he should run for president.

The only legal way for Stephen to run for president would be if he gave up control of his super pac.

A few hours ago I got an email from the Colbert Super Pac saying that they are new management ! Jon Stewart is the new president and the pac has been renamed to "The Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC".

This means exactly that, not Rick Hasen's prediction about supporting Buddy Roemer, but yes, Stephen Colbert is running for president of South Carolina.

A couple of days ago Rick Santorum said:

Herman Cain mocks Uzbekistan calling it Uzbeki Beki Beki Beki Stan Stan and points out he doesn't care to know much about anything outside his electrified fence.

Now the question is: "How does our society let someone like that even get close to anything related to public responsibility ?"
